Terrific jacket! I really love the idea of the turning the charmeuse to the right side and adding the trim. It's a similar concept to turning the jacket facing to the right side and binding the edge, and that can really make for a unique jacket. One that is rarely seen in RTW, at least in my neck of the woods.

Hey, any acceptances to Penn State Main or Temple? Were those among her college choices? Temple is looking somewhat attractive for us at this point because they gave my daugher an academic scholarship. That would really help her out. Although the neighborhood is crap :( .

This is gorgeous!!! I'm thinking of beading a design on a dress in the same pattern as your trim and was having trouble visualising it, so you've helped me with that. I love the boucle you've used and I think you'll get tons of wear out of this jacket. I've totally stalled on the Chanel style jacket I had planned, but maybe when it cools down here and summer is over I might get back to it. Thanks for the inpsiration!
