I looked at the sneak peek when it first became available and I was immediately intrigued. I also expected this book to not be worth the money but it is definitely on my wish list. Kudos to Threads for also making a large portion of the book available for viewing in the sneak peek. Usually the sneak peek only gives you the table of contents, the entire index and the first few pages of the first chapter...hardly enough to determine a book's value. Thanks for posting your review.

Thanks for the review - I didn't realize this book was out - I don't have the (gasp!) Reader's Digest compendium which I hear is so great - so maybe I'll have to take the splurge!

Faye - I tend to agree with you on the Couture Magazine as well. I bought it for a plane flight and really didn't get as much out of it as others, although I do know other bloggers really do like it!

I'm glad to hear that about Threads new book. I was awfully disappointed in the couture magazine. I'm also thinking about joining that book club.
